Privacy
Short version: Dunow doesn’t collect anything about you. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no trackers.
What Dunow does not do
Dunow has no sign-up and no login. It doesn’t ask for your email, contacts, location, photos, or any personal information. It contains no analytics or advertising SDKs, and it does not send your activity to us or to any third party. There is nothing for us to see, because none of it leaves your control.
The name you type
When you start a two-player “Play Nearby” game, you type a display name so the other player knows who they’re playing. That name and the live game state are sent directly between the two devices over your local network (Apple’s MultipeerConnectivity, using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). It goes only to the phone you’re playing with, never to a server of ours. Nothing about a Play Nearby match is stored after it ends.
Your high scores
Your single-player scores are saved on your device. If you’re signed in to iCloud, your top scores also sync across your own Apple devices through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, so you can pick up on your iPad where you left off on your iPhone. That data lives in your personal iCloud account under Apple’s privacy terms — we have no access to it.
Children
Dunow is friendly for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here.
